The Root Chakra Print explores Mūlādhāra, the
foundation of the familiar chakra sequence. Its detailed text takes you through
the imagery of the four-petalled lotus, the earth element, the seed sound LAM
and other symbols associated with the root.
The artwork follows these ideas from yogic and tantric
traditions into modern reflections on stability, home, belonging and support.
You can read the text directly from the print and return to it whenever you
want to look a little closer.
Paper: Printed on 250 gsm museum-quality matte paper that is acid-free and FSC-certified, with a soft matte finish and a natural off-white tone.

When I was choosing the subject for my next collection, the chakras felt like a natural place to begin. They connect with my spirituality and with questions I keep returning to about who we are. I created these prints to bring their imagery, history and different interpretations together in artwork you can live with, read and return to. I hope they inspire you to explore these questions in your own way.
