Terms and Conditions

1. Our Agreement

General: This page tells you the terms and conditions (the “General Conditions”) on which we supply any of the products (‘Products’) listed on our website, www.rayoflightprints.com, or any of the other sites through which we supply Products or services. By ordering any of our Products and services, you, as the Consumer (“the Customer”), agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

2. About Us

We are Ray of Light Prints Ltd, a company registered in England under number 13023485 with our registered office at Ray of Light Prints, 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.

3. Products and Services We Offer

Product Range: Ray of Light Prints specialises in artistic wall prints that combine inspiring designs with compact, educational content. Our prints are crafted using high-quality materials to ensure durability and vibrant colour reproduction.

Customisation: We may also provide customisation services for our prints, allowing customers to personalise designs or request specific modifications, where applicable. These services may incur additional charges, which will be communicated clearly before the order is confirmed.

Availability: All products and services are subject to availability. While we strive to ensure that all designs and sizes displayed on our website are in stock, we cannot guarantee immediate availability. If a product or service is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative or full refund.

Changes to Products: Ray of Light Prints reserves the right to make minor adjustments to designs, materials, or services without prior notice to improve quality, accuracy, or compliance with production standards. These changes will not significantly alter the product’s aesthetic or intended purpose.

4. Making a Contract With Us

Eligibility: By placing an order through our site, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old.

How the Contract Is Formed:

After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note this does not mean your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to buy a Product.

All orders are subject to our acceptance. We will confirm acceptance by sending you an e-mail confirming that the Product has been dispatched (Dispatch Confirmation). The contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.

The Contract will relate only to those Products whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such Products has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.

5. Consumer Rights

Right to Cancel: If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time within 14 working days, beginning the day after you receive the Products. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products in accordance with our refund policy (set out in our Returns Policy).

Cancellation Procedure: To cancel a Contract, you must inform us in writing. You must also return the Products to us within 14 days, in the same condition in which you received them, and at your own cost and risk.

Obligations During Return: You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply, we may have the right to seek compensation.

6. Availability and Deliverability

Delivery Time: Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then within 30 days of the Dispatch Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Force Majeure: Delivery may be delayed in the event of a Force Majeure (see below for more details). If delivery is delayed beyond 30 working days and the delay is not caused by you as the Customer, you are entitled to cancel the purchase and receive a full refund for the affected products.

7. Risk and Title

Risk Transfer: The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.

Ownership Transfer: Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due with respect to the Products, including delivery charges.

8. Price and Payment

Prices: Prices displayed on our website apply to orders placed through the website. All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT.

Payment Methods: We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, and PayPal.

Clearpay: UK customers can use the Clearpay payment option to split their purchases into four interest-free instalments, paid every two weeks. Further details and terms are available on the Clearpay website.

Payment Processing: Payment is processed at the time of placing the order. If you choose to pay by card or PayPal, the payment will be charged when your order is placed.

9. Special Offers

Ray of Light Prints may occasionally provide special offers that may have more favourable conditions than those set forth in these General Conditions. These conditions will apply for the duration of the special offer and for the specific products specified in connection with it. Ray of Light Prints reserves the right to withdraw such offers at any time.

10. Delivery and Shipping

Shipping Timeline: Products are typically delivered within the estimated timeframe displayed on the product page, at checkout, or in the order dispatch email. Unless otherwise agreed (e.g., for pre-ordered or out-of-stock products), delivery will be made no later than 30 working days from the date the Dispatch Confirmation is sent.

Collection from Pickup Points: If delivery requires collection at a specific pickup point, you must retrieve the package within the specified timeframe. You will receive a notification of the delivery via email, SMS, or phone, depending on the details you provide.

Non-Collection Fees: If the package is not collected within the specified time, Ray of Light Prints reserves the right to charge a £15 fee to cover administrative and return shipping costs.

11. Returns

Cancellation Returns: If you cancel a Contract within the 14-day cooling-off period, we will refund the price of the Product once we have received the returned item. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is damaged.

Other Returns: If the return is for any other reason (e.g., damaged product), we will examine the return and process a refund within 30 days, including any applicable delivery charges and reasonable return costs.

Refund Method: We will refund your payment using the same method used for the original transaction.

Business Purchases: Returns for business purchases are excluded from the 14-day return policy, except for faulty or damaged items.

12. Intellectual Property

All images, designs, and texts on Ray of Light Prints are the property of Ray of Light Prints or their respective copyright owners. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute these without express permission.

Any disputes related to intellectual property may result in legal action, including interim injunctions.

13. Our Liability

General Limitation: If we fail to comply with these terms and conditions, we are only liable for the purchase price of the Products.

Exclusions: We will not be liable for any indirect losses (e.g., loss of income, data, business profits, etc.).

Negligence: This limitation does not apply in cases of negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Import Tax and Duty

EU/UK Shipments: Orders shipped to UK and EU destinations are dispatched from within their respective regions, so no import duties or taxes apply.

Non-EU/UK Shipments: Orders outside the UK/EU may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.

Compliance: You must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

15. Written Communications

All communications with us will primarily be electronic. By using our site, you agree to receive electronic communications.

We will contact you via email or provide updates on our website. You acknowledge that such communications meet legal requirements for being in writing.

16. Notices

Notices should be sent to support@rayoflightprints.com. We may send notices to the email address or postal address you provided.

17. Events Outside Our Control (Force Majeure)

We are not liable for failure to perform any obligations due to events outside our reasonable control, including strikes, riots, war, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

18. Waiver

A failure to insist on strict performance of these terms does not waive our right to enforce them in the future.

19. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions and any documents referred to within them constitute the entire agreement between us. Any variations must be confirmed in writing.

20. Changes to This Agreement

We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will apply from the date they are posted on the website, and you will be subject to the terms in effect at the time of your order unless otherwise specified.

21. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.

22. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
